Thanks to all of our friends in the media for supporting URS and the Rubber Duck Regatta!
We officially kicked off the duck season at the Kroger at Austin Landing on Saturday. Adopt your ducks today to support local kids & adults with disabilities at daytonducks.com!
Thanks to ABC22 for covering this story!
The 12th Annual United Rehabilitation Services (URS) Rubber Duck Regatta is the dramatic drop of 20,000 rubber ducks into the Great Miami River at RiverScape on Saturday, September 19th, during The Taste of the Miami Valley.
URS needs your help making this the biggest Dayton Duck Race ever!!!
We are seeking some energetic volunteers to help with our Rubber Duck Regatta! One way you can help is through Duck Campaigns which consists of selling ducks with your friends, co-workers, church groups, etc., to support URS 12th annual Regatta, July through September. Another way you can help is through Rubber Duck Sales! Volunteers will help sell ducks at local festivals and Kroger stores! Festivals include the GermanFest and the Popcorn Festival!
URS will also need help the day of the Rubber Duck Regatta, corralling 20,000 ducks out of the Great Miami River!
For more details on how to volunteer, click the Volunteer Tab or contact Diane Osman at

In 2012, local business owner of Fat Daddy’s Pump ‘N Go in Moraine, Vicky Lambert, adopted $500 worth of ducks to support the 9th Annual URS Rubber Duck Regatta. Vicky has a very special place in her heart for people with disabilities because her sister, Peggy, was born with Cerebral Palsy in 1957. One of Vicky’s ducks was indeed “lucky” and she ended up winning the 5th prize last year. When she picked up her prize and toured URS, she was amazed with the scope of services URS offers. With her sister’s passing 10 years ago and this being URS’ 10th Annual Regatta, she couldn’t think of a more fitting tribute to her beloved sister than to donate a car for this year’s event in her sister’s favorite color, red!
Thanks to Vicky’s huge heart for children and adults with disabilities, her business, Fat Daddy’s Pump ‘N Go in Moraine, is donating a 2013 Chevy Spark for the Grand Prize of this year’s Regatta. The URS Rubber Duck Regatta raises funds to support vital daycare programs, onsite nursing services, parent support groups, therapies, vocational training and respite care for local children and adults with disabilities!
